Nuit des Veilleurs

We warmly invite you to the Nuit des Veilleurs, our annual event marking the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture.

We will gather at the Anglican Chapel, 5 Avenue Marie-Thérèse, for a prayer service dedicated to environmental activists and defenders of the Earth who have suffered persecution, ill-treatment, and repression. This year's focus will be on cases from Cambodia, Azerbaijan, and Mexico.

Following the prayer, we will share a convivial moment together and screen the documentary The Illusion of Abundance (L'Illusion de l'Abondance), which explores related themes of environmental justice and human rights.
